TRANSFER TRACKER STATUS: Signing
Toronto FC have acquired winger Alejandro Piedrahita on loan from Bulgarian first-division side CSKA Sofia, the club announced Friday.Â
The 24-year-old Colombian's loan is through the 2027 MLS Sprint Season.Â
"We are happy to welcome Alejandro to Toronto," said general manager Jason Hernandez.
"Alejandro is a quick, aggressive, and direct wide attacker who will bolster our offensive group for the remainder of the 2026 season and the upcoming 2027 MLS Sprint Season. He will provide us with an additional dynamic threat in transition moments and increase the level of competition within the team."
With CSKA Sofia, Piedrahita has scored two goals in 21 games and helped them capture the 2025-26 Bulgarian Cup.
Before joining CSKA Sofia, Piedrahita tallied 10g/3a in 110 matches with Colombian top-flight side Deportivo Pereira. They won the Colombian league title in 2022.Â
Additionally, Piedrahita has played on loan at Argentine sides Banfield and Gimnasia.
