The New England Revolution have inked all three of their SuperDraft picks to contracts, announcing on Saturday that their two 1st round picks have signed deals.
No. 8 overall pick Brandon Bye and No. 9 selection Mark Segbers were added to the Revolution roster after spending the first part of preseason with the club, both appearing in a Feb. 6 exhibition against FC Cincinnati. Bye also featured against Malmo and the NY Red Bulls, while Segbers was out with an injury.
The 22-year-old Bye hails from Western Michigan University, where he scored 12 goals in his senior season, earning National Scholar Player of the Year from the United Soccer Coaches (USC). St. Louis native Segbers, 21, was a four-year starter at Wisconsin, finishing his career with 16 goals and 22 assists.
The Revolution signed their other draft pick, No. 78 pick Nicolas Samayoa, on Friday, Feb. 9.
