TRANSFER TRACKER STATUS: Re-signed
Nashville SC have re-signed defender Eric Miller, the club announced Tuesday. His new deal runs through the year with a club option for 2022.
Miller, 28, was out of contract after 2020. The versatile defender made six appearances in the club's successful expansion campaign after being selected in the 2019 Re-Entry Draft. He has been well-traveled in his MLS career, making stops with the Colorado Rapids, CF Montreal, Minnesota United and NYCFC before Nashville.
“Eric offers valuable leadership and experience both on and off the field, and we are happy to have him returning,” GM Mike Jacobs said in a club statement.
The move helps round out Nashville's defensive unit, anchored by 2020 MLS Defender of the Year Walker Zimmerman.
