NEW YORK (August 1, 2025) - Major League Soccer (MLS) today announced a strategic collaboration with Amazon that will see Amazon Fire TV Channels distribute select MLS content. Through this collaboration, MLS highlights and archival footage will be available to fans for free on compatible Fire TV, Fire Tablet, and Echo Show devices via Fire TV Channels. MLS is the first soccer property league to establish a highlights partnership with Amazon Fire TV.

As part of the agreement, fans will gain instant access to highlights and archival content from MLS, MLS NEXT Pro, MLS NEXT, and the Leagues Cup – no downloads, sign-ups or fees required. The collaboration expands MLS’ global visibility and reinforces MLS' commitment to innovation, fan accessibility, and reach by leveraging Amazon’s expansive reach and powerful distribution offerings.

Key Features Include:

  • Amazon Fire TV: MLS highlights will be prominently featured in a dedicated row on the Fire TV Channels home screen and landing pages, as well as within the Sports section—alongside other major sports leagues to make it easy for fans to discover and engage with content.
  • Echo Show Devices: Fans can request the latest MLS highlights through the Fire TV Channels app on Echo Show Devices.

“We’re proud to be the first soccer league to distribute highlights directly on Amazon’s Fire TV Channels,” said Gem Benedict, Vice President of Premium Content Partnerships, Major League Soccer. “This collaboration allows us to bring the excitement of MLS to fans around the world through services they already use and trust— making the league more accessible and engaging for soccer fans everywhere.”

The agreement represents the latest step in MLS’s broader content strategy to deepen technology-driven fan engagement and continue expanding the league’s international footprint.
