TRANSFER TRACKER STATUS:Re-signed
Minnesota United announced on Monday they have re-signed defender Eric Miller. The 26-year-old returns to the Loons after spending most of the 2018 season with the club, making 18 appearances and tallying an assist after being traded from the Colorado Rapids in May. He had been out of contract following the 2018 campaign while he and the club negotiated a new deal.
Miller will be entering his sixth season in MLS, and has previously played for the Montreal Impact as well as the Rapids, with 104 MLS regular season appearances and four MLS Cup Playoffs appearances to his name in his career to date.
He is a Minnesota native and will likely be competing with new signing Romain Metanire for the starting right back spot this season. Minnesota United will open the 2019 MLS regular season on March 2 on the road against Vancouver Whitecaps FC.
