The rainbow armband that US national team captain Michael Bradley wore in the USMNT’s Copa America Centenario quarterfinal win against Ecuador is up for sale – and the proceeds will go to a good cause.
US Soccer announced on Tuesday that Bradley has donated the unique rainbow armband and the game jersey he wore in the US’s 2-1 win against Ecuador in Seattle last Thursday for an online charity auction benefiting the OneOrlando Fund and Equality Florida.
Both organizations are providing financial resources to victims and families impacted by the mass shooting that killed 49 people at a gay nightclub in Orlando earlier this month.
Bradley wore the armband, which was specially made for last Thursday’s match, in honor of the victims of the Orlando attack. He will autograph the jersey and will also make a donation to the two funds.
