Jordan Morris vows to come back "stronger and better" with Seattle Sounders

Jordan Morris – Seattle Sounders – thumbs up

Days after injuring his ACL while on loan at Swansea City, Seattle Sounders and US men’s national team forward Jordan Morris shared a determined outlook on Twitter.

Morris was injured in Swansea City’s game last Saturday, and he’s returning stateside to prepare for surgery with Dr. Bert Mandelbaum in Santa Monica, Calif. The 26-year-old was loaned to Championship side Swansea City a month ago as they chased promotion, only for the serious injury to limit him to five matches overseas.

Despite suffering another setback after previously tearing his ACL in 2018, Morris is remaining upbeat and focused on the road to recovery. The simple version? Morris said he'll "come back stronger and better" and is "more motivated than ever."
